Fox Business Network anchor Lou Dobbs gave high praise to President Trump on his first 100 days in office.
Dobbs said Trump managed to get a lot of things done despite relentless Democratic obstructionism, nonstop smear campaigns from leftist media, and little help from members of his own party. “President Trump’s successes are unmatched in recent presidential history,” Dobbs said.
If Ryan & Congress throw full support behind @POTUS the next 100 days will be even more remarkable than the first! #Dobbs #MAGA #TrumpTrain pic.twitter.com/wL0x7x1hty

Dobbs said Trump was unable to score some key victories (such as repealing and replacing Obamacare) because of “a Speaker of the House of the same Republican party who has been woefully inadequate to the responsibilities and demands of his office.”

Dobbs, who called on Paul Ryan to step down as Speaker last month, said: “Speaker Ryan is working against the president and his agenda at every turn.” However, Dobbs added that if Ryan threw his full support behind Trump’s agenda, the next 100 days will “be even more remarkable.”
President Trump gave Lou Dobbs a Twitter shout-out, thanking him for his support.

Dobbs doubled down on comments he had made just days earlier, when he told Fox News anchor Sean Hannity that President Trump has been “pretty close to perfect” in fulfilling campaign promises and re-establishing American leadership on the world stage.
“Well, he’s pretty close to perfect, Sean,” Dobbs said. “He’s worked his tail off. Still is. Taking care of national defense, national security and all the challenges that aren’t on the Trump agenda. It’s truly remarkable what he’s doing and the credit he’s not receiving for what he’s done.”
Dobbs added: “I really think the president is in a very good place. He has done more than any president in recent history — certainly in the last half-century — in the first 98 days of his presidency.”
