‘Go to hell!’ Famous designer behind Melania’s WH portrait stands up to the haters in a big way

Iconic fashion designers Dolce & Gabbana stand behind Melania Trump. And if you don’t like it, you can “go to hell.”

That’s what Stefano Gabbana, one-half of the famed fashion house, told haters who criticized him for dressing Melania for her first official portrait as first lady.

On Tuesday, Gabbana thanked Melania on Instagram for wearing his $2,900 Turlington satin-trim two-button jacket, writing: “BEAUTIFUL ❤❤❤. Thank you ❤❤❤.”

Anti-Trumpers immediately pounced, with some saying Gabbana should be ashamed of himself for dressing Melania.

“Disgusting. you dressed her shame on you!!!!” one user wrote. Gabbana fired back: “I don’t care!”

Another chimed in: “So you have lost a follower, and worst, an admirer.”  Gabbana again replied: “I dont care!! Really.” And then he proceeded to tell another hater: “Vai a cagare!” (“go to hell” in Italian).

After one woman repeatedly trashed Melania, Gabbana wrote: “I like Melania. She’s a beautiful woman.”

Gabbana then said if someone doesn’t like his Instagram posts, they should just unfollow him instead of trolling him. “How many stupid and ignorant people r on Instagram!” he wrote.

This isn’t the first time Stefano Gabbana praised Melania Trump knowing he’d take a lot of heat. After the first lady wore a Dolce & Gabbana dress on New Year’s Eve, Gabbana posted an Instagram photo of Melania wearing his outfit, and wrote: “Thank you.”

Melania has said in multiple press interviews that she’s not bothered by haters and detractors because she’s a lot stronger and more confident than people give her credit for.

“People don’t really know me. I’m very strong, I’m very confident,” Melania said. “I can handle everything. Don’t feel sorry for me.”
