Michael Flynn Jr., the son of former National Security Advisor Gen. Michael Flynn in no stranger to being a controversial figure on social media.
Friday morning he lived up to his reputation and launched a bombshell of a tweet, claiming recent news about his father is fake.
Gen. Flynn made headlines Thursday when it was widely reported he would testify before Congress in exchange for immunity. Gen Flynn’s  lawyer, Robert Kelner, released a statement calling the investigations and allegations against Flynn a “witch-hunt.”  And because he did not specifically mention the word “immunity” has many people, possibly including Flynn Jr., crying foul.
Flynn Jr., was referring to the bombshell interview former Obama administration official Evelyn Farkas inadvertently admitted President Donald Trump was under surveillance before he took office.
Meanwhile, Kelner also claimed his client had a “story to tell,” adding even more speculation to the already heated topic. Flynn Jr. also tweeted that point:
Flynn continued to fuel the fire by retweeting about the “fake news.”
Meanwhile, the Senate Intelligence Committee has turned down Gen. Flynn’s alleged request for immunity, NBC reported.
And President Donald Trump, tweeted Friday morning that he believed Flynn is right in asking for it.
