Trump wakes up feisty! Kicks off day with retweet of Diamond & Silk that sends Twitter spinning

President Trump kicked off his morning by letting some of his most loyal fans do the talking.

Shortly after 5:30 a.m. Thursday, the president retweeted Lynnette Hardaway and Rochelle Richardson, better known as “Diamond and Silk.”

The sisters from North Carolina became famous as the Stump for Trump Girls, supporting then-candidate Donald Trump during the election campaign with fiery appearances and YouTube videos.

Of course, Diamond and Silk’s tweet came after Sessions “asked” 46 Obama-era US attorneys to hit the road in an effort to drain the swamp.

Days later, Trump would have to revamp his tagline, “you’re fired” after stubborn attorney Preet Bharara refused to capitulate.

Trump’s early morning share of the duo’s tweet from last week set off a flurry of mixed responses on Twitter.

What a way to start the day.
