This has to be a first.
In the month-and-a-half since President Donald Trump was inaugurated, the left has thrown a wide range of accusations at him, from discriminating against Muslim immigrants to overstepping his powers.
Now he’s accused of weight gain.
“I start the day with liquids, but after the morning news, I eat pancakes smothered in maple syrup!” songstress Barbra Streisand claimed on Twitter.
And she attributes her binge eating to the commander in chief. She tweeted Saturday night:

Streisand added that each time the president says or does something that she finds distasteful, she puts the feed bag back on and pigs out.
The latest instance was the president’s statement that his predecessor had wiretapped Trump Tower during the closing days of his campaign.

Streisand was one of the many Hollywood performers who threatened to leave the United States if Trump were elected, earning a big smackdown from then-Fox News host Greta Van Susteren.
She later blamed Trump’s victory on the Supreme Court.
Folks on social media got a big chuckle out of her claims. “Try eating some truth for a change,” tweeted Roberto Pedro. And that was one of the more polite responses.

One believed that the results would have been much worse had Clinton won the election — like most media outlets had predicted.

But conservative author and talk radio host Laura Ingraham probably said it best in the title of her 2006 book, “Shut Up and Sing: How Elites from Hollywood, Politics, and the Media are Subverting America.”
Streisand, why don’t you just shut up and sing.
