Has former reality TV star now President Donald Trump started a trend? Sure looks that way.
During an interview with Bloomberg Media, talk show mogul Oprah Winfrey was asked whether she’d considered a presidential run.

“Have you ever thought that, given the popularity you have — we haven’t broken the glass ceiling yet for women — that you could actually run for president and actually be elected?” interviewer David Rubenstein asked her.
“Actually, I never thought that was — I never considered the question, even a possibility,” she she said after a miss-start and a long pause.

“I just thought — oh, oh,” she continued, now giving it some deeper consideration.
Rubenstein added, with President Trump in mind, “It’s clear that you don’t need government experience to be elected president of the United States.”
“That’s what I thought!” she put in. “I thought, oh gee, I don’t have the experience, I don’t know enough … now I’m thinking, oh!”
She had both supporters and detractors on social media, with a few even suggesting running mates — more TV personalities.

@thehill After 8 yrs of Obama, I felt I could be president too. I mean, I could screw things up if that’s all it took.

Yes, she was a huge promoter of former President Obama. That says a lot.
