President Donald Trump believes former President Barack Obama is behind recent White House leaks and nationwide protests against him.
“I think he is behind it. I also think it’s politics. That’s the way it is,” Trump said Tuesday in an exclusive interview with Fox News Channel’s “Fox & Friends.”
Co-host Brian Kilmeade pointed out that previous presidents did not do the same to their successors.
“Well, you never know exactly what’s happening behind the scenes. You’re possibly right but you never know,” Trump responded.

“I think that President Obama is behind it because his people are certainly behind it, and some of the leaks possibly come from that group,” the president said.
“You know, some of the leaks, which are really very serious leaks, because they’re very bad in terms of national security, but I also understand that’s politics. And in terms of him being behind things, that’s politics, and it will probably continue,” Trump said.
Asked if he was disappointed by this, the president said he was not surprised by it as he has moved forward in undoing much of the legislation implemented by Obama.
“I’m not really surprised because I understand the way the world works,” he said. “It’s politics.”
