Clueless leftists think they’re winning the fight against President Trump because their riots and protests get widespread media coverage.
But what they don’t understand is that the left’s violence and bullying are turning off scores of liberals, centrists, and moderate conservatives who otherwise would not support Trump. The meltdown was spotlighted in a New York Times article entitled, “Are Liberals Helping Trump?”
Jeffrey Medford, a small-business owner in South Carolina, voted reluctantly for Trump because he’s a Republican. Medford has since reconsidered his support because he disagrees with some Trump policies.
While he’d normally express such views openly, the left’s rhetoric attacking anyone who doesn’t denounce Trump as a racist Nazi has made him defensive, so he has become more supportive of Trump. “We’re backed into a corner,” Medford said. “I didn’t choose a side. They [the left] put me on one.”

Similarly, Ann O’Connell, a retiree in Syracuse, New York, is a lifelong Democrat who twice voted for Bill Clinton. This election cycle, O’Connell voted for Trump because the Democratic Party’s move away from the middle class toward identity politics disgusted her.

O’Connell said seeing the violent rioting and bullying of Trump supporters on the news makes confident she made the right choice in voting for Trump. “I don’t have a problem with protesting as long as it’s peaceful, but this is destroying the country,” O’Connell said. “I think it’s scary.”
Meanwhile, conservatives on Twitter say liberals are definitely helping Trump with their endless whining, constant demands for free stuff, and nonstop victim status. And they have one message for liberals: By all means, PLEASE keep it up.
