Donald Trump reiterated the message that got him elected in an emotional pre-inauguration speech at the Lincoln Memorial.
The 45th president said while his supporters cheer him on during the Inauguration ceremonies, he’ll be cheering them on.
“You’re going to cheer me on, but I’m going to be cheering you on,” Trump said. “Because what we’ve done is so special.”
Trump thanked his supporters from the bottom of his heart because they stood behind him when the press, the pundits, and the polls said he had NO chance of winning.

“The polls started going up, up, up, but they [the dishonest media] didn’t want to give us credit. Because they forgot about a lot of us,” Trump recalled.
The billionaire — who will forgo his $400,000-a-year presidential salary — then reiterated his promise to fight for the forgotten man and woman who have been ignored by “elite” coastal politicians and mainstream media.

“On the campaign I called it ‘the forgotten man’ and ‘the forgotten woman.’ Well, you’re not forgotten anymore,” Trump vowed. “That I can tell you. Not forgotten anymore.”

Trump said his supporters launched a massive movement that has reverberated around the world, and he couldn’t be prouder or more grateful.
“All over the world they’re talking about it, all over the world,” Trump gushed. “And I love you folks. We’re going to work together. We are going to make America great again … greater than ever before! Thank you very much. Thank you, everybody. Thank you.”
