Like a boss! Trump wants one thing from lawmakers boycotting his inauguration and it’s not an apology

President-elect Donald Trump has a message for those members of Congress who are boycotting Friday’s inauguration ceremony — don’t let the tickets go to waste.

In an exclusive interview that will be aired in its entirety Wednesday, Trump told “Fox & Friends” co-host Ainsley Earhardt that Rep.John Lewis’ decision not to attend the ceremonies amounted to “grandstanding” by the Georgia Democrat.

“As far as other people not going, that’s OK, because we need seats so badly,” the president-elect added.

“Now, what happens to their tickets?” he asked Earhardt. “I hope they’re gonna give us their tickets. I hope they give me their tickets.”

What started out as a protest by Lewis has mushroomed into an inauguration boycott by nearly 60 House Democrats — most holding “safe” Congressional seats in liberal districts.

To date, no Senators are boycotting the event.

On Fox News Channel’s “Special Report” Tuesday, conservative talk radio host Laura Ingraham revealed that she has started a telephone campaign to those lawmakers not attending, asking for their unused tickets to distribute to groups who would welcome the chance to attend the ceremonies such as Wounded Warriors.

Social media agreed — release the tickets.
