It seems President-elect Donald Trump’s contentious relationship with the media is sending some journalists back to school.
Trump’s unprecedented dealings with the press have prompted some worried members of the media to band together and plan how to cover the incoming president.

Journalists from The Huffington Post, Slate and Univision will reportedly assemble next Wednesday at an event hosted by Slate and moderated by CNN’s Brian Stelter, The Hill reported.
Focusing on “how the news media can and should proceed to cover” the president-elect, the event called “Not the New Normal,” will be held at New York University just days before the inauguration.
According to Slate, the panel will feature a “conversation with top editors in New York about how the news media can and should proceed to cover the Trump presidency. The panel will discuss strategies they are implementing at their outlets, and how journalists and media companies at large can play a bigger role in making sure that fact prevails over fiction in the coming months and years.”
Proceeds from the sale of the $30 tickets will benefit the Committee to Protect Journalists.
Participating in the panel will be Univision Digital’s vice president and editor-in-chief, Borja Echevarría, Huffington Post editor-in-chief Lydia Polgreen and New Yorker editor David Remnick. Editor-in-chief for Slate, Julia Turner, and Slate Group Chairman Jacob Weisberg will also join the liberal cry-fest as they iron out ways to deal with a Trump administration.
Apparently, their Journalism 101 classes never taught them how to just report the news.
