Where’s Sasha? One Obama daughter goes missing for farewell speech, sparks comedy gold

In a takeoff on “Where’s Waldo,” people were wondering where’s Sasha, the younger Obama daughter during President Obama‘s farewell speech — the last address of importance he will deliver during his presidency.

But unlike Waldo, Sasha wasn’t merely hidden — she just plain wasn’t there. First lady Michelle Obama and first daughter Malia were seated in the front row in the audience — but no Sasha.

Some observed that she nixed the event knowing that it would me more of the same — something any 15-year-old would want to avoid like the plague.

And what lies and BS would that include? Here it is in graphic for.

There were other explanations offered such as these.

Obama mentioned both his daughters during his farewell address in Chicago.

5 ways President Obama’s farewell speech differed from his predecessor

“Malia and Sasha, under the strangest of circumstances, you have become two amazing young women, smart and beautiful, but more importantly, kind and thoughtful and full of passion,” Obama said at about the 2:35 mark in this clip. “You wore the burden of years in the spotlight so easily. Of all that I’ve done in my life, I’m most proud to be your dad.”

But that still didn’t answer the question, where’s Sasha. The White House provided the answer. It turned out she was at home studying for a science exam scheduled for Wednesday.

One person took it out on her teacher and was quickly shot down. This is, after all, not a monarchy. In America, everyone is supposed to be treated equally (unless your last name is Clinton).

Science exam or not — I still like the doobie explanation.
