And you thought Don Lemon was bad.
The CNN host now famous for his drunken antics was excoriated over social media for refusing to call the act of torturing a disabled white man by four black Chicago area teens yelling “F**k white people, f**k Donald Trump” what it is… evil.
But Lemon’s got nothing on his guest, Symone Sanders, who one-upped his rhetoric, and not only refused to call the horrific act that was streamed live to Facebook a “hate crime” but also more than implied that the blame lays at Donald Trump’s feet.
“I just want to remind folks that we cannot sit here and ignore that — at least for the last year on very public display — the worst parts of America have been brought from the fringe into the mainstream,” the former Bernie Sanders spox stated. “That affects people on both sides.”
Really?
She continued…
“We’ve talked about white nationalists and white supremacists and the KKK, but there also, when this inflammatory rhetoric is out there, when someone is repeatedly telling you that your community is the worst of the worst, it brings out the worst of the worst in people.”
“That is not a hate crime,” she blindly stated. “Hate crimes are because of a person’s racial ethnicity, their religion, their gender, a disability, it isn’t your political leanings, because someone doesn’t like you’re political leanings and they do something bad to you, that is not a hate crime.”
It was all too much even for Lemon, who said the young Chicago thugs probably don’t watch the news let alone know who Donald Trump really is.
Watch:
Daily Caller’s Christian Datoc reported on it, and got plenty of feedback on Twitter:
#fakenews. No wonder nobody trusts CNN anymore.

She went on to call the act “sickening” and said they should probably face “some consequences.”
Ironically, those consequences came after the broadcast was aired and the CPD charged the four kidnappers with a hate crime among other atrocities.
