The wait is over – and may not have been worth the anticipation.
“The New Celebrity Apprentice,” the post-Donald Trump edition, debuted Monday and revealed the catchphrase for new host Arnold Schwarzenegger.

There was much speculation about what Schwarzenegger would use to replace President-elect Trump’s signature catchphrase, “You’re fired,” in the new season.

The former Republican governor of California and action superstar chose to deliver lines from two of his own movies.
“So, therefore, Carrie, you’re terminated. Now, get to the chopper!” Schwarzenegger told YouTube personality Carrie Keagan, the first to be cut on the show.

In another nod to his “Terminator” films, he told contestant Carrie Wilson in the second hour of the show that she was cut, using the same phrase followed by the famous line from 1991’s “Terminator 2: Judgment Day”: “Hasta la vista, baby.”

The new host made no mention of Trump, who bowed out of hosting the show in 2015, beginning his presidential campaign.
Trump’s name appeared in the credits of the show as executive producer, but the president-elect said last month that he would not be devoting any time to the series which debuted in 2004.

Many Twitter users found Schwarzenegger’s new phrase underwhelming and voiced their opinions in tweets, while others called for a boycott of the show because of Trump.
