Donald Trump likes to keep his friends close and his enemies far away.
The incoming president ejected an author who had accused him of rape in a biography from his Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach, Florida.
Harry Hurt, who wrote “Lost Tycoon: The Many Lives of Donald J. Trump,” later recounted the incident on Facebook (see below), where he pompously referred to himself in the third person and played the victim.
Hurt, who was set to play in a foursome with billionaire businessman David Koch, claimed he was kicked out after approaching the president-elect to congratulate him.
Hurt says Trump scolded him for his biography, where he alleged that Trump had raped his ex-wife, Ivana Trump. Trump denied the allegation, and Ivana later said her use of the word “rape” was not literal.

Hurt claims Trump accused him of “writing “sh*t.” Hurt claims he replied, “It’s all true,” and that’s when Hurt says Trump kicked off his golf course. Trump disputes Hurt’s account.
There are conflicting accounts of what happened. A Trump transition official told Politico Hurt is trying to “instigate” a faux controversy for publicity. The article goes into some detail.

In a parting shot on his petty Facebook post, Hurt wrote: “We played Emerald Dunes instead, which is a much, much better golf course than Trump International.”
Some Facebook users slammed Hurt, saying his account did not ring true and that he deserved to get booted.
One woman wrote: “What kind of pompous *ss refers to himself in the third person? Just another pathetic publicity wh*re.”
