Read ABSURD interview with gun control advocates who sent graphic failed-suicide images to DC officials

Anti-gun activist group Betsy Riot launched a letter-writing campaign that targeted elected officials nationwide in November, and the letters continue to pour in.

Below is an unedited transcript with the group, and it reveals a very important undercurrent of liberal ideology.

The activists sent violent images of people with self-inflicted gunshot wounds to the families of federal and state politicians who supported gun rights nationwide. Since at least one of the images included a suicide victim, The Daily Caller News Foundation wanted to dig deeper to discover if the group had a coherent position on, well, anything.

The group cites a concern with gun-related deaths in the letters, but continuously dodged questions regarding suicide and mental health.

Over two-thirds of every gun-related death is a suicide in any given year, and those with a classified mental illness are three times more likely to commit suicide.

What follows is the transcript of ramblings from the group that had no idea how to answer a question central to the issue with which they are concerned.

The group has sent letters to 768 lawmakers and NRA supporters. The nebulous “change” the group seeks would be new if it weren’t President Barack Obama’s campaign slogan way back in 2008. When it came down to numbers, bills, and action, the activists at Betsy Riot were left speechless.
