Michelle Obama tells Oprah Winfrey that Americans feel hopeless because of Trump

Michelle Obama says Americans are hopeless and hapless now that Donald Trump is president.

The outgoing First Lady made the doom-and-gloom remarks to Oprah Winfrey, who interviewed her for a TV special set that aired in December 2016. CBS released an excerpt on Friday, where Obama predicted that all hope in America will disappear once her husband leaves office.

Winfrey asked Obama: “Your husband’s administration, everything, the election was all about hope. Do you think this administration achieved that?” Obama replied:

Yes, I do. Because we feel the difference now. Now we’re feeling what not having hope feels like, you know? Hope is necessary. It’s a necessary concept.

And Barack didn’t just talk about hope because he thought was just a nice slogan to get votes. He and I and so many believe that what else do you have if you don’t have hope? What do you give your kids if you can’t give them hope?

Mrs. Obama perfectly illustrates what happens when you get suffocated in the Democratic bell jar. There’s a whole world outside the leftist echo chamber that’s thrilled and optimistic that Trump is the next president.

Many Americans now say they finally FEEL HOPE with Trump coming into the White House after being let down by Obama’s failed policies.

Moreover, Wall Street is apparently over the moon about a Trump presidency, based on the records being set on the Dow Jones Industrial Average and other financial indices since the billionaire was elected.

The daily, record-shattering rallies are especially noteworthy because Democrats had predicted the stock market would crash if Trump were elected.

Michelle Obama then jabbed at Trump (without mentioning him by name) by suggesting he’s too immature to be president.

“Having a grown-up in the White House who can say to you in times of crisis and turmoil, ‘Hey, it’s going to be okay. Let’s remember the good things that we have’ … All of this is important for our kids to feel focused … What do we do if we don’t have hope, Oprah?”

Not surprisingly, the reaction on Twitter has been interesting.
