Donald Trump will be attending the 117th Army-Navy Game at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore on Saturday, something President Obama apparently could only find the time to do once during his eight years in office.

The only time Obama could bother to attend was 2011 and Vice President Biden attended in 2012.
Trump has not even been sworn in yet but plans to be at Saturday’s game between the Navy Midshipmen and the Army Black Knights, an annual rivalry game that began in 1890. For the first time since 2010, both teams enter the game with winning records, Army 6-5 and Navy 9-3.

Already honoring the tradition and the players by attending, Trump could possibly bring along General James “Mad Dog” Mattis.
The defense secretary nominee is a big fan of the games and was excited Donald Trump could be making history by attending, according to the Gateway Pundit:
“Army-Navy games are an annual pilgrimage for the last 8 years for me. It is an awe-inspiring experience, full of pageantry, flyovers and a stadium filled with Americans who aren’t afraid to belt out our anthem and, like me, shed a tear or two as the gravity of the choices our Midshipmen and Cadets have made truly hit home.

It is a football game, but it is so much more. The field and the stands are filled with our future officers, their proud families, the veterans who came before them and grateful Americans like me (who also happen to love football.)
Today brings the news that President-Elect Donald Trump will be attending this Saturday’s 117th Army-Navy game in Baltimore. This may be a first, a President-Elect attending the game.
What a way to begin his official duties! Honoring our future leaders, veterans and all of the Americans who love and respect them.
In keeping with Presidential tradition, Trump is expected to sit with the Cadets for the first half and move to the Midshipmen side for the second half.”
The president-elect, it seems, is already setting a great tone and example for his administration by honoring America’s military.
