People want to know what’s going on between Ivanka Trump and global warming guru Al Gore

President-elect Donald Trump’s eldest daughter Ivanka is meeting with global warming guru and former Vice President Al Gore at Manhattan’s Trump Tower Monday.

Michelle – Oh no, that dress! Maybe it’s a good thing her designers vowed not to dress Melania

Ivanka, who is married to businessman and investor Jared Kushner, is reportedly interested in making climate one of her signature issues, according to The Hill, and the couple and their family are looking for digs in the Washington, D.C. area.

This could possibly spell the president-elect’s own interest in the controversial subject matter.

Trump transition team spokesman Jason Miller confirmed the meeting’s venue in a telephone conference call to reporters but added that the president-elect will not be in attendance.

Miller also declined to disclose the meeting’s agenda, but given Gore’s activist role in climate change and Ivanka Trump’s interest in the subject, it would take little imagination to make an educated guess. The Hill reported:

Ivanka has close ties to influential Democrats, and she has supported causes traditionally more dear to the left than to conservatives, including pushing her father to support child care and paid family leave policies.

Three of Trump’s adult children — Ivanka, Don Jr. and Eric — are serving as advisers to the transition team. Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner, Ivanka’s husband, is also serving as a transition adviser.

Trump indicated earlier that he will leave the administration of his business interests to his adult children, and he’s scheduled to elaborate on this in a December 15 announcement.

So far he’s been silent on what — if any — advisory role his children may have in his presidential administration.

Jonathan Lamire, national political correspondent for The Associated Press, reported:

Liberal doomsayers thought Trump should pay tribute to climate change.

But conservatives thought it time to stop this nonsense — nip it in the bud.

During a May energy independence speech, Trump announced that he intended to tear up president Obama’s climate change deal with the United Nations.

It’s official! Ben Carson accepts cabinet position offer from Donald Trump

Does this meeting signal a change in direction to Trump’s “all of the above” energy policy?
