Unlike the faith-shaming hit piece unleashed on them by Buzzfeed, a Christian HGTV couple responded to the attack with grace and class.
The leftist publication was blasted for going after the Texas-based “Fixer Upper” stars, Chip and Joanna Gaines, with a “fake news” piece that attacked their Christian beliefs and their church. Buzzfeed was widely criticized for the “witch hunt” they unleashed against the popular stars of HGTV’s home remodeling show, assailing them for attending a church that opposes same-sex marriage.
Chip Gaines responded to the accusations on Thursday with some advice posted on Twitter.
Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be courageous; be strong. DO EVERYTHING IN LOVE.

(2)… and at least at that moment, at my house, all is right with the world!

And putting the incident into perspective, the Waco businessman and cowboy at heart, tweeted about what really matters.
U know.. even as all hell “appears” to be breaking loose. All I have to do is look at my 4 precious babies sleeping, or kiss Jo good morning

He even re-tweeted the Pope.
Today we remember Blessed Charles de Foucauld who said, faith calls us to see Jesus in every human being.

It seems Buzzfeed’s absurd “news” story backfired, earning them a solid scorching for targeting the successful couple. And for Gaines, some “morning counseling” provided hope for a better day ahead.

@chippergaines stay strong in your faith. If more people had values like you and Joanna, this world would be a much better place.
