Tucker Carlson battled an Islamophobia debate armed with a powerful weapon: the facts.
Trump wins over Krauthammer with one of his choices: ‘He wants to get stuff done’
The Fox News host challenged his guest, Georgetown professor Engy Abdelkader, when she made the claim that white supremacists were a greater threat to Americans than radical Muslims.
“That’s just not true,” Carlson interrupted the professor on “Tucker Carlson Tonight” on Wednesday.
“There haven’t been 100 Americans killed in the last 8 years, 350 wounded from right-wing extremist in the United States,” he pointed out, “and if you claim it is, I ask you to cite your source.”
Abdelkader countered that “FBI data” backed her claim but Carlson was having none of it.
With raised eyebrows, he calmly interrupted her again.
“In the last eight years, there have been more than 100 people killed by white supremacists, and more than 350 wounded by white supremacists in America?” he asked. “That’s not true.”

Carlson concluded that Abdelkader was making a “point that is unsupportable,” and instead of addressing the problems within the Islamic community itself, “you turn it instead back on America and the West by saying our intolerance causes this.”
Obama tells ‘Rolling Stone’ Dems lost partly because ‘Fox News is in every bar and restaurant’
Those pesky facts make it so hard to win the war liberals wage and this exchange is another answer for any questions about why Carlson’s ratings are so high.
