Milo kills it! ‘Hello, Officer? I just watched a man absolutely destroy a woman on live TV’

Conservative firebrand Milo Yiannopoulos defended himself and his fellow Breitbart colleagues from accusations of being racists and misogynists.

The technology editor for Breitbart News squared off in a heated exchange with journalist Cathy Newman of the U.K.’s Channel 4 who, at times, shouted over him and repeatedly interrupted his attempts to answer her questions.

Newman attacked Yiannopoulos on his past headlines and boss, Breitbart chairman-turned-chief White House strategist Steve Bannon, whom she said has “horribly regressive attitudes” and has been labeled anti-Semitic.

“Breitbart is a company that is almost entirely staffed by Jews,”Yiannopoulos countered, laughing off the claims. “I’m a gay Jew and he made me into a star.”

His attempts to school Newman on the meaning of satire fell on deaf ears, however as she announced, “I want to put some of your own satire to you,” as she read some of Yiannopoulos’ writing back to him.

“You can’t hear the humor in that?” he asked as she continued to recite examples. “You’re supposed to treat it as it’s intended and not wrench it from context.”

“You know perfectly well that it is a provocation designed to make people think and perhaps to make them laugh,” he added as he was continuously interrupted by Newman.

“I do delight in offending people,” Yiannopoulos said.  “I think the grievance brigade, victimhood, you know the idea that hurt feelings are some kind of special currency, I think that needs to come to an end and America agrees.”

Calling out modern feminism as “nasty, ugly, sociopathic and mean,” Yiannopoulos said feminists and movements like Black Lives Matter are “preoccupied with feelings first and facts later.”

“America has been ruled for 30 years by people who are too worried about what other people feel, not what other people think. And too worried about feelings versus facts,” he said. “They spread conspiracy theories and propaganda about the wage gap and campus rape culture. This stuff isn’t real.”

Twitter users praised Yiannopoulos and noted Newman’s form of journalism is exactly what keeps ruining the media’s credibility with viewers.
