Hillary Clinton just gave the best speech of her career; ironically it was her concession

After a long night, former presidential candidate Hillary Clinton took the stage in New York City on Wednesday to deliver her concession speech to her supporters and to offer support to President-elect Donald Trump.

It was a far fall from her planned victory fireworks display, which she canceled hours before the election results came in.

“This is painful and it will be for a long time,” the former secretary of state said as tears welled up in her eyes.

Clinton apologized to her supporters for not wresting the presidency from President-elect Trump.

“I am sorry that we did not win this election for the values we share and the vision we hold for our country,” she told the disappointed crowd.

She offered her support to the new president to be.

“Donald Trump is going to be our president. We owe him an open mind and the chance to lead,” Clinton said.

“I hope that he will be a successful president for all Americans.”

It was ironically one of the best speeches of her career.
