Obama breaks his silence on FBI decision in the most cringeworthy way

This is nothing like what we heard at the White House press briefing this week.

President Obama appears to have thrown James Comey under the bus after promising he wouldn’t be “meddling” in the FBI’s investigation of Hillary Clinton’s emails.

“Well, you know, I’ve made a very deliberate effort to make sure that I don’t look like I’m meddling in what are supposed to be independent processes for making these assessments,” the president told NowThis News in an interview published Wednesday marking his first public comments since Comey announced a new review of information connected to Clinton.

“I do think that there is a norm that when there are investigations, we don’t operate on innuendo,” Obama said, just days after  the White House said he would defend Comey’s integrity.

With Election Day looming, the president is now singing a different tune in a complete lack of self-awareness.

Twitter users were also happy to educate Obama on the correct meaning of the word “innuendo.”
