WikiLeaks: Donna Brazile admits ‘despair’ of ‘low wage jobs’ and the Obama economy

Senior Democrats publicly praise the Obama economy, but among themselves? It’s all doom and gloom.

In February 2016, when Donna Brazile was still serving as vice chair of the Democratic National Committee, she expressed concerns about the economy in an email to Hillary Clinton campaign chairman John Podesta.

Until WikiLeaks released the hacked email this week, Brazile believed her concerns to be private.

“I think people are more in despair about how things are — yes new jobs but they are low wage jobs,” the soon-to-be DNC chairwoman wrote. “HOUSING is a huge issue. Most people pay half of what they make to rent.”

Publicly Brazile told a different story — of an Obama economy that was sunshine and roses.

BaCK in 2014 she tweeted that the economy was humming right along:

And she kept the cheerleading up, reporting on the phenomenal Obama administration job growth:

Yeah. Too bad they’re all low-wage jobs. The true Obama legacy: A part-time president who created a part-time economy.
