The real difference that separates the two major party candidates running for the White House has nothing to do with “Sex, Lies and Videotape.” It’s about immigration and protecting our borders.
In a speech delivered to Goldman Sachs, Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton essentially said that open borders are American as apple pie.
In one of three 2013 speeches she delivered to the financial giant in return for $675.000, she said that those who oppose immigration as being “fundamentally un-American,” according to a transcript released by WikiLeaks.
During her October 2013 address, an employee posed a question to the former secretary of State.
“How do we reframe what we talk about in terms of the good that America does in the world and bringing about the message of hope?” she was asked at Arizona’s Ritz-Carlton Dove Mountain.

She expressed the ability of Americans to come together for a common cause, as they did after the 9/11 terrorist attack, before addressing the immigration issue.
“We do have to get back to telling the American Story and telling it to ourselves first and foremost. That’s why immigration reform is so important. I mean, get immigration reform done you [sic]. It sends exactly the signal you’re talking about,” Clinton said.
“Get it fixed so that the people who have been here working hard, building futures, are given the chance to become American citizens. There’s no requirement that they do, but they would be given that path to citizenship.”
She then blasted open borders detractors as being narrow-minded.
“And what I really resent most about the obstructionists is they have such a narrow view of America. They see America in a way that is no longer reflective of the reality of who we are. They’re against immigration for reasons that have to do with the past, not the future. They can’t figure out how to invest in the future, so they cut everything,” Clinton said.
“They just have a backward-looking view of America. And they play on people’s fears, not on people’s hopes, and they have to be rejected. I don’t care what they call themselves. I don’t care where they’re from. They have to be rejected because they are fundamentally unAmerican [sic].”
Late last month, Clinton raised eyebrows when she named German Chancellor Angela Merkel as her favorite world leader. Merkel has gained notoriety for her open border policy, which has created havoc in her country, including widespread crime and stretching social service programs belong their limits.
In a previous speech disclosed by WikiLeaks, Clinton told employees of Unibanco Itau, a Brazilian bank, that she dreamt of an open border western hemisphere that included a common market among those countries.
