What a difference an election cycle makes.
During the 2008 Democratic primary, then-Sen. Barack Obama blasted then-Sen. Hillary Clinton for “taking more money from lobbyists than any other candidate — Democratic or Republican.”
Nothing much has changed on that front.
But he wasn’t finished. Obama also accused Clinton of engaging in conflict of interest when she said she would vote for “the Columbian trade deal.”
“It turns out, her top strategist was working for the Columbian government to get the bill passed,” Obama said.
Nothing much has changed there either, with Clinton being accused of engaging in “pay for play” with Clinton Foundation donors while serving as secretary of state.
Actor James Woods retweeted a video of Obama’s 2008 remarks originally posted by psychologist and radio host Dr. Estella Sneider.

With Clinton now the only person running for the White House who would continue Obama’s anti-American legacy, he probably wishes he hadn’t said those words.
Then again, he probably also wishes he hadn’t called then-President George W. Bush “irresponsible” and “unpatriotic” for raising the national debt from $5 trillion yo $9 trillion. By the time Obama leaves office, the national debt is estimated to be at or near $20 trillion.
