Violent mob attacks man on the street for wearing pro-Trump hat

An unidentified Donald Trump supporter was attacked and chased by an angry mob in the San Diego suburb of El Cajon, California Wednesday.

They threw bottles at the young, hapless man, who appears to be of Hispanic descent, and eventually stole his red “Make America Great Again” ball cap.

Part of the action was caught by Fox News Channel’s Will Carr, who posted this video to social media.

The mob was actually there to protest the police shooting of Alfred Olango, who pointed what appeared to be a handgun at officers. But the Trump supporter’s red ball cap was apparently like a red cape to a bull.

In a video shot separately from the Fox News clip, the man said he was chased and hit in the back of the head — all because of this cap. Shortly after that the mob descended on him again and threw him to the ground as he can be heard yelling.

When he’s next shown, he’s no longer wearing his cap.

It didn’t take long before the attack was noted and discussed on social media.

The chaotic scene prompted a comment reminiscent of Ann Coulter’s book, “Adios, America: The Left’s Plan to Turn Our Country into a Third World Hellhole.”
