‘Morning Joe’ flabbergasted by latest Gary Johnson stunt: ‘He really did that?’

MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” panel was taken aback by Libertarian presidential nominee Gary Johnson when he suddenly began talking during an interview with his tongue out.

After MSNBC political correspondent Kasie Hunt conducted the interview with the former New Mexico governor, she tweeted:

Johnson told Hunt that had he been allowed to participate in the debate process he poll numbers would rise, and “it wouldn’t have anything to do with my debate performance either.”

It would rather be because people would recognize that there was a choice other than the Republican and Democratic presidential nominees.

At that point Johnson stuck his tongue out, arguing that he could “emerge as the leader” without saying a thing.

After the clip was shown to the “Morning Joe” panel, one panelist exclaimed, “He really did that?”

“That never happened to me in an interview before,” Hunt said. “But otherwise we had a very lengthy, extended conversation.”

Viewers were as incredulous as the panel.
