Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump set off a controversy suggesting that Hillary Clinton’s bodyguards should disarm and “see what happens to her.”
“I think that her bodyguards should drop all weapons. They should disarm, right?” Trump said Friday at a rally in Miami, Fla. while addressing Clinton’s gun control policies. “Take their guns away, she doesn’t want guns. Take their — and let’s see what happens to her. Take their guns away. OK, it would be very dangerous.”

Trump had been telling the crowd that Clinton wants to “destroy your Second Amendment.”

Last month, Trump sparked controversy when his comment about Second Amendment supporters was twisted to sound like a death threat against Clinton.
