Former Texas Gov. Rick Perry made his “Dancing With The Stars” debut Monday night on ABC, and it was a hoot.
Everything about the number was Lone Star State-themed: The outfits he and partner Emma Slater wore, the dancing, described as a “Country Cha-Cha,” and especially the music — “God Blessed Texas.”
And by the big grin on his face the audience could tell he was enjoying it.
“A presidential debate ain’t even in the class,” the two-time former Republican presidential candidate said when asked afterwards how the two compared.
