Trans student gets a little lewd in girls’ bathroom – lawsuit promptly follows

Minnesota parents are suing a school district after young girls were exposed to a transgender student twerking in the girls’ bathroom.

At least 11 families, represented by the Alliance Defending Freedom, filed the lawsuit against the school district and the federal government, reports Fox News.

“No student should be forced to use private facilities at school, like locker rooms and restrooms, with students of the opposite sex,” the lawsuit states.

The transgender student, identified as Student X in the lawsuit, was allowed to use the locker room and bathroom of his choice.

The Department of Justice and Department of Education recently issued a directive to public schools saying schools risked losing federal funding if they did not allow transgender students to use the facilities of their choice.

Student X would go into the locker room and dance in a “sexually explicit manner—‘twerking,’ ‘grinding’ and dancing like he was on a ‘stripper pole,’” according to the lawsuit. The music he danced to usually featured explicit lyrics.

“On another occasion, a female student saw the male student lift his dress to reveal his underwear while ‘grinding’ to the music,” the lawsuit alleges.

Student X also commented on other girls’ bodies when in the locker room. He asked one female student if he could trade body parts and what her bra size was.

When the girls expressed discomfort, the school told them they could use a secondary locker room located in the basement.

Another female student used a vacant boy’s locker room in the hopes of having privacy, according the lawsuit. But the transgender student went to that locker room as well and took off his pants in front of her and other girls present.

“Telling girls that their privacy and modesty don’t merit a private and secure changing area is an attack on women,” said Gary McCaleb, a lawyer with Alliance Defending Freedom.
