County singer Blake Shelton found himself the target of Westboro Baptist Church fear mongers, but he wasn’t about to take their shots lying down.
WBC became extremely upset with who it described as their “dear friend” Shelton over the announcement that he will be getting married again, this time to singer, Gwen Stefani.
Stefani will become Shelton’s third wife, but according to the people at WBC, she doesn’t count. And neither does, his second wife, country star, Miranda Lambert.
WBC took to social media to scold Sheldon, and let him know that in the eyes of God he is still married, and always will be to his first wife, Kaynette Williams.

The video goes on to say:
This is an open warning and attempt to help our dear friend Mr. Blake Shelton. Friends, Mr. Shelton is in dire straights… He is a crude serial whore monger who clearly hates God and despises His word and seeks to misuse His preachers…
… [she is] the woman he is still married to in the eyes of God. Mr. Shelton, whether he wants it or likes it, has a duty bestowed upon him by his Creator to head up that body of one flesh.
For some reason, Shelton felt the need to respond to the Tweet that was repeated four times and liked six.

Perhaps, he just thought of a clever come back and had to get it out there. So now that there were a lot more eyeballs on the nonsense, WBC did what they do best and doubled-down.

The “perversion” was all Shelton needed to come up with a picture of WBC’s founder Fred Phelps, in a, ahem, questionable position.
