Josh Duggar is now being sued by a Hollywood DJ who claims the reality star wrongfully used his image on dating and social media sites.
Matthew McCarthy filed a lawsuit against the disgraced former “19 Kids & Counting” star after allegedly finding his picture being used on Duggar’s Ashley Madison profile, according to Entertainment Tonight.
Duggar, who admitted having the account and being addicted to pornography, allegedly used a photo of McCarthy he found on the internet.
In the lawsuit, McCarthy said his strong Catholic family background has made the Duggar connection especially damaging, as he has been ridiculed and has received “harassing and humiliating messages,” including being dubbed “DJ Duggar,” ET reported. He also claimed the scandal has cost him professional work as a Los Angeles-based DJ and photographer.
McCarthy is suing Duggar for the wrongful use of his image, and for compensation for alleged loss of income, job security and reputation, according to ET.
Duggar reunited with his wife, Anna, after exiting a faith-based rehabilitation clinic in March.
