New ‘plagiarized’ signs seen at DNC prove one thing — Trump’s onto something, and Hillary knows it

If the old adage that says imitation is the highest form of flattery is true, than Donald Trump just received some high praise from an unlikely source.

Hillary supporters at the Democrat National Convention Wednesday night were sporting some new signage that looked very familiar to a lot of people.

Almost immediately social media lit up with accusations of plagiarism. After all, it was Donald Trump who stealthy took Hillary to task for the elitist “I’m with her” phrase touted by doting Dems. He had long criticized the logo and phrase before driving the point home on the main stage at the RNC last week in front of a national audience.

After Trump looked into the cameras and vowed to be the champion of the American people, he went in for the kill.

“My opponent asks her supporters, to recite a three-word loyalty pledge. It reads: I’m with her,” Trump said at the RNC.

“I choose to recite a different pledge. My pledge reads, ‘I’m with you, the American people.’”

Naturally, his pro-freedom comments were met with resounding applause. Which explains the following:

No kidding!

It looks as if the Hillary camp got the memo and sent printing machines into overdrive after Trump’s speech. But, according to the Merriam-Webster online dictionary, plagiarism includes stealing or passing off the ideas or words of another as one’s own.

With that in mind, those on social media have a case:

No one expects Hillary to be slammed by the mainstream media for plagiarism, but the fact that Democrats can so easily, and brazenly, change a core motto by copying a rival’s idea in the middle of the disaster known as the Democrat National Convention is astounding.
