Rudy Giuliani’s barnburner convention speech sets social media on fire

Rudy Giuliani’s fiery speech on the opening night of the Republican National Convention pumped up the crowd and brought delegates to their feet more than once.

The former mayor of New York City covered everything from defending the character of the GOP nominee Donald Trump to shredding that of presumptive Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton. He rallied support for police, attacked Clinton scandals like Benghazi and had a direct message to terrorists: “You know who you are, and we are coming to get you.”

Giuliani’s speech was met with rousing cheers and applause at the Convention, but social media reaction was mixed.

Some Twitter users seemed to get his message and enjoyed the speech.

Some, not so much.
