An actress put on an entirely different kind of show for a stunned audience aboard a Delta flight on Monday.
Selma Blair, noted for movie and television roles, most recently starring in “American Crime Story: The People v. O.J. Simpson” was returning from a Mexican vacation when she had the public breakdown.
Blair had invited her son’s father on a trip to Cancun for Father’s Day. Paparazzi and social media pictures showed Blair, her ex Jason Bleick, and their four-year-old son Arthur having a great time until things took a turn for the worse on their way back to Los Angeles.
Bleick snapped a photo for Instagram just before the incident occurred.
“He burns my private parts. He won’t let me eat or drink,” Blair began to yell on the flight, according to TMZ.
Witnesses also said she was crying and saying “He beats me. He’s going to kill me,” although it is unclear who Blair was referring to.
Paramedics boarded the plane on arrival where Blair was taken off on a stretcher. “It looks like she had taken a combination of prescription medication with alcohol. We don’t know what sort of prescription medications,” a source told People Magazine.
“Arthur was so happy to spend the weekend with his family, giving his mom lots of hugs and kisses on their beach getaway,” a source told People.
“She was happy and healthy the entire trip.”
