Sen. Bernie Sanders’ interview with Univision’s León Krauze didn’t go quite as planned when he was asked about socialisms failures.

The Democratic socialist candidate clammed completely up when Krauze asked him to explain the failures of socialism in Venezuela, Argentina and Brazil.

“I am very interested, but right now I’m running for President of the United States,” Sanders said.

Krauze then asked him if he didn’t “have an opinion about the crisis in Venezuela?”

“Of course I have an opinion, but as I said, I’m focused on my campaign,” Sanders shot back.
