Jeb Bush’s latest jab at Trump has major backfire written all over it.

Jeb is apparently still seething from being taken to the election cleaners by presumptive GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump.

In Trump’s signature politically incorrect fashion, the GOP front-runner made news with a now infamous Cinco de Mayo tweet. Much of the left mistakenly saw the tweet as a sorry attempt to pander to Hispanics. Even Hillary took the bait, and went after Trump only to have it backfire in her face – bigtime.

Now, Jeb has stepped up to the plate that seems long ago served with criticism that should be filed deeply away within the “what the heck was he thinking” pile. In a recent interview with Dutch newspaper NRC Handelsblad, Jeb beat the dead horse, criticizing Trump’s “insensitive” tweet.

“First, not all Hispanics are Mexican,” Jeb said according to an English transcript via the Huffington Post. “Secondly, not all Hispanics eat tacos. Thirdly, showing your sensitivity by eating an American dish is the most insensitive thing you can do.”

But it gets worse. Way worse…

“Fourthly, to say this, next to all things he already said, is a further insult. It’s like eating a watermelon and saying ‘I love African-Americans,’” he said.

“This guy,” Jeb added. “If we lose in November, we Republicans have ourselves to blame.”
