Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump was forced to take an unusual route to an event in California.
The GOP front-runner navigated around a fence and crossed a ditch to enter through the back of the Hyatt Regency hotel in Burlingame, Friday, as protesters broke through police barricades in an attempt to storm the hotel, reported KPIX TV.

“That was not the easiest entrance I’ve ever made,” Trump later told the Republican crowd gathered for the planned luncheon. “It felt like I was crossing the border actually. I was crossing the border, but I got here.”
