Her parent’s should be proud.

One fed-up millennial is calling out her generation in a posted video that has been viewed over 41 million times.

Texas TV journalist Alexis Bloomer told “Fox and Friends” host Ainsley Earhardt that she was tired of her  fellow millennials displaying a lack of manners and respect for their elders.

When she saw two young boys run past a limping elderly man at a post office recently, Bloomer said “it really rubbed me the wrong way.”

She pointed out that treating the elderly with respect was just something she was taught to do. She took her feelings to Facebook, posting a video calling out Generation Y on having common decency and manners.

“It was more of a call to action than a rant,” Bloomer said. “It was telling all of us that we should step up and prove people wrong and be the better generation, and not go out with such a bad reputation.”

Bloomer did not think the video would go viral since the subject she covered was just what people are expected to do. “It resonated with everyone,” she said, “which is very surprising.”

Bloomer plans to lead the charge by setting an example with her own behavior, practicing “things my parents taught me which is kindness and respect.”

“It costs nothing to be kind and just have common respect and decency, so I’m just going to use that in my everyday life, and hopefully someone else will follow suit,” Bloomer said.
