Stacey Dash accused of trying to take race out of Prince’s legacy; gets angry backlash

Liberals are quick to turn a compliment into something disrespectful.

Conservative actress Stacey Dash recollected her fond memories of pop music icon Prince to Fox News anchor Jon Scott Saturday. One of her observations set social media ablaze.

“You didn’t look at him as a black artist, or an artist of any color, he was just Prince,” Dash, who’s also a Fox News contributor, said.

Somehow people took offense to that.

Bossip, which bills itself as the “premier destination for African-American culture abd entertainment,” sent out this tweet and an avalanche of hate ensued.

Liberals eviscerated Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker for paying tribute to the pop icon — and he never mentioned race.
