Actress Lindsay Lohan says America is not being truthful about the Quran and she aims to get to the bottom of it.
Lohan is just now addressing a mini-hullabaloo she caused last year after being spotted holding the Islamic holy book.
The tabloid pictures had many fans scratching their heads. Is she… would she? Convert?
Not just yet. For the moment, Catholic-raised Lohan told The Sun that she is “open to learning.”
“America has portrayed holding the Quran in such a different way to what it actually is.
“We all believe in something and at the end of the day it all ties to a God or a spiritual adviser.” But the end of the Quran is a different story. The actress said it’s been a difficult read and maintains she has yet to finish the book.

Lohan, 29, is no stranger to controversy – or the spotlight. The interview about Islam comes amid heavy rumors of a possible engagement with 22-year-old Russian heir Egor Tarabasov.
Although Lohan’s rep is denying the engagement, the reports have merit, according to Page Six of the New York Post.
