Democrats are starting to put on show rivaling the spectacle that is the 2016 GOP primary.

Dr. Paul Song used some colorful language to describe the Democrat establishment while speaking at a Sanders rally Wednesday. It didn’t help that Hillary Clinton’s name was mentioned in nearly the same sentence.

Here’s the transcript via Blue Nation Review:

Dr. Paul Song: Now Secretary Clinton has said that Medicare for all will never happen. [boos] Well, I agree with Secretary Clinton that Medicare for all will never happen if we have a president who never aspires for something greater than the status quo. [cheers] Medicare for all will never happen if we continue to elect corporate Democratic whores [cheers] who are beholden to big pharma and the private insurance industry instead of us.”

Song tried to defend himself and apolgize.

But it was too late. The “Democratic whores” hashtag was alive and trending, and everyone from every political affiliation wanted a piece of it.

Whatever!

Good question.

Sanders has since come out to try and quiet things down calling Song’s remarks “insensitive” and “inappropriate.”

Again, the apology came too late…
