Corey Lewandowski is still baffling the media.

On “Face the Nation” Sunday, Donald Trump wouldn’t answer the question on whether Lewandowski had initially lied about not touching then-Breitbart News reporter Michelle Fields, and added he won’t “ruin a man’s life over a tape that looks like practically nothing happened.”

CBS News host John Dickerson continued to hammer Trump on the issue.

“What did [Lewandowski] say when you [initially] talked to him about it?” Dickerson asked.

“I don’t think he knew too much about it,” the billionaire businessman replied. “I talked to him very briefly to be honest with you.”

He added that a review of the video shows that practically “nothing happened.”

Dickerson continued to press on the campaign manager’s initial statement.

“He said he didn’t touch her. He said she was delusional. He said she was making it up,” he said. “The videotape shows she wasn’t making it up.”

“She grabbed me, just so you understand,” Trump shot back, but later admitted he didn’t feel threatened by Fields.

“Why not be the bigger person and say, she was treated roughly, she was my guest, I apologize to her,” the CBS newsman asked.

It’s not my job to apologize to her,” Trump said. “It could have been that the incident was so minor that he didn’t even know what they were talking about.”
