The White House announced Tuesday that President Obama will not be attending the funeral for first lady Nancy Reagan.
A surprise? Hardly. Shameful? Yes, according to many who see this as another show of disrespect from Obama who has opted out of several memorial services that one would expect to see a president attending.

Instead of attending the former first lady’s funeral service on Friday, he is expected to speak in Austin, Texas, at the South by Southwest conference.
