Video: Protesters dressed as Rubio-bots ‘manhandled’ at campaign event

They shouldn’t have picked election day.

Tempers tend to be short during any political campaign, especially when someone decides to mock your candidate — most especially when someone mocks your candidate on election day.

That’s exactly what happened Tuesday at a New Hampshire event for Sen. Marco Rubio‘s run for the White House on the very day voters in the Granite State were casting ballots in the presidential primary.

Folks from the Democratic PAC American Bridge decided to show up dressed as robots, mocking the Florida Republican’s robotically-repeated talking point at the ABC GOP presidential debate Saturday.

What followed was mayhem.

There was some “outrage” over the way the robot was treated, but for the most part, social media found it disturbingly hilarious:
