SNL’s mock Cruz called himself the “greased pig of politics.”
“Saturday Night Live” nailed Sen. Ted Cruz in its cold open, chastising him for his Iowa caucus victory on Monday, which some allege was at the expense of Dr. Ben Carson, as well as a much publicized clip of his daughter not really wanting to hug him.
But much of the sketch centered on the Texas Republican calling himself names such as “sneaky little stinker” and “nasty little weasel” in a mock campaign ad with cast member Taran Killam playing Cruz.
