A seven year-old’s straightforward response on a school assignment has garnered over three million views.
Asked to describe how he would look when he is 100 years old, the boy drew a picture of a stick figure in a coffin underground. His mother posted the drawing on Imgur.
Reactions ranged from praise for the boy’s creative, yet honest, response to questions about the logic of such a ridiculous assignment. “Why do schools even do that,” asked one, and “What sort of school gives this out as an assignment?” asked another.
Many commented on the “pushing up the daisies” reference in the drawing. And while many thought the seven-year-old was pretty clever, one comment noted “this is cute and sad.”
