Trump says our country is going to hell if you don’t vote, slams American football

Addressing a crowd of more than 2,000 in Reno, Nevada Sunday, Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump warned his supporters that the country will “go to hell” if they don’t register and vote.

“You have to register, otherwise they’re not going to let you vote,” he said. “And you know what’s going to happen if you don’t vote? Our country’s going to go to hell, because that’s what’s happening.”

At the same event, he also voiced his support for law enforcement officers, addressed opponent Sen. Ted Cruz’s qualifications to run as a “natural born citizen,” and his low campaign expenditures.

In another predictably controversial clip, Trump tackled America’s holy grail of sports to make his point.

“Football has become soft. Now I’ll be criticized for that. They’ll say ‘Oh, isn’t that terrible'” he told the crowd. “Football has become soft like our country has become soft.”
